Did you know? Agricultural exhibitions trace their roots to the 18th century, evolving from local community gatherings to national events. These events, often organized by agricultural societies, served to promote agriculture, share new knowledge, and foster rural development. The earliest documented fair in Canada was held in Windsor, Nova Scotia, in 1765.
